Bhagavan, Jonas von der Burg and Niklas von der Burg
for September's third album Dancing Shoes (2007). It
was released as the album's first single on June 20,
2007 in Sweden and as the second single in The
Netherlands during 2008.
The song has been confirmed by Hard2Beat to be the third single in the UK, following "Cry For You" and "Satellites", and was released in a new remix; the release date was set for March 2, 2009, but now the release date has been pushed back to March 9,2009. It will be released in the United States as a CD Maxi-single, in addition to the original version which had been released in December 2007; the new remixes will be released on March 3, 2009.
The song was released to Australian radio in late 2008 on the back of the success of "Cry For You", but after record label Central Station went into administration, all releases were cancelled. In February 2009, it was announced that Central Station was back in business, and "Can't Get Over" was among the first confirmed releases. The single edit in Australia will be the same as the new UK remix, and a CD single will be released on April 10, 2009. No track listing has been confirmed. On 11th March "Can't Get Over" was given the midweek position of "Top 15" in the UK singles chart.
