Halo" is a song by American R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles. It was written by Ryan Tedder, Evan Bogart and Knowles for her third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce. The song was released on January 20, 2009 as the album's third single.
The song "Halo", written by Ryan Tedder, was originally offered to British singer Leona Lewis, but was given to Knowles because Lewis did not have the time to record it. Lewis also stated that the song suited Knowles' voice better. A dance remix of the song was released by famous dance-producers Mysto & Pizzi on their blog. The Duo had previously remixed singles for Justin Timberlake, Kanye West and Britney Spears.
